UTT 73rd Inter District & State Table Tennis Championship 2025 Kicks Off in Guwahati

DD TIMES Guwahati, November 29, 2025: The Assam Table Tennis Association has inaugurated the UTT 73rd Inter District & State Table Tennis Championship 2025 at the DTRP Indoor Hall, Guwahati.

The championship will run from 29th November to 4th December 2025, bringing together more than 600 players from across the state to compete in this prestigious annual event.

The Opening Ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Smt. Nandita Garlosa, who officially declared the tournament open.

The event also witnessed the presence of several eminent former Assam table tennis players, including Sankar Dutta Lahkar, Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Gagan Choudhary, Mukul Boro, Carfew Ray, and International Umpire Mitali Dutta Das, among many other distinguished guests.

The Assam Table Tennis Association has appointed Mr. Biman Bhagawati as the Chief Referee for the championship.
