ITF MASTERS TENNIS TOURNAMENT: GERMAN AND SLOVAKIAN PLAYERS MOVE UP

DD TIMES Guwahati, 10th November, 2025: The ITF Masters MT200 Tennis Tournament started today at the All Assam Tennis Association complex, Chachal, Guwahati.
The tournament is being held for men’s and ladies +35, +45, +55 and +65 age categories. The events are singles, doubles and mixed doubles. In the men’s singles 45+ years age group Daniel John of Germany defeated Subhash Kalita of India 6-3, 6-0 to reach the semifinals.
Another player from abroad Peter Jancuska of Slovakia defeated Rajeeb Bora of India in straight sets in the men’s singles 45+ age group to reach the quarter finals.
The doubles and mixed doubles events will start from tomorrow.
