Firdoz Alam of Assam wins bronze
Guwahati, 13th October: Assam has won 2 medals so far today in the 40th National Junior Athletics Competition held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Following Priyanuj Gogoi’s bronze medal achievement, Firdoz Alam of Assam won a silver medal today.
Firdoz won the silver medal in the under-18 boys’ 5000-meter race walk event. The athlete showcased excellent performance and completed the race in 22:16:30 minutes to achieve success.
Following this achievement, Jayantamall Barua, President of the Assam Athletics Association, General Secretary Gitarth Goswami, along with the members of the Assam Athletics Association, congratulated him.
