Rangia, October 8: Day 2 of the Guwahati Corporate & Office Cricket League (GCOCL) 2025 witnessed two contrasting yet decisive encounters at the Rangia Hindi Higher Secondary School Ground, with Shreya Telemedia and Stallions securing emphatic victories.
In the first match, Shreya Telemedia defeated Project Engineering by 90 runs.
Batting first, Shreya Telemedia posted 168/7 in 20 overs, powered by Shyam Goswami’s composed 55 off 51 balls and Abhishek Rathore’s brisk 45 off 32.
In reply, Project Engineering faltered against a disciplined bowling attack and were bundled out for 78.
Ikramul Haque (4/24) and Bikash Kumar Singh (3/7) starred with the ball, ensuring a clinical win for Shreya Telemedia.
The second match saw Stallions overpower Dalmia Elite XI by 8 wickets.
Dalmia Elite XI were restricted to 108, with Saila Pratim Buragohain delivering a stellar spell of 5/19, supported by Hirak Jyoti Das (2/20) and Banajeet Deka (2/19).
In response, Kangkan Deuri Bharali (28) and Utpal Baruah (23)* guided the Stallions to victory in just 15.5 overs.
With these results, both Shreya Telemedia and Stallions opened their GCOCL 2025 campaigns in style, showcasing dominant all-round performances early in the league.
