763 BRTF, Project Vartak BRO, Organises Swachh Bharat Drive at Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh
DD TIMES Tawang, 8 Oct 2025: Taking an innovative approach to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, 763 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF), Project Vartak, organised a special cleanliness and food hygiene drive at Mahabodhi Positive Living Society,Teli from 21 Sept to 07 Oct— an old age home dedicated to the care and well-being of senior citizens.
The focus of the initiative was on food hygiene, as it plays a vital role in maintaining the immunity and health of the elderly. A nursing assistant briefed the residents and staff on hygienic cooking, safe food handling, and the importance of clean surroundings in preventing infections.
Personnel of 763 BRTF actively participated in cleaning the kitchen, dining, and storage areas, followed by the preparation of a nutritious and wholesome meal served with affection to all residents.
During the interaction, the residents expressed deep gratitude.
“It feels good to see such young and energetic people working with us — it brings warmth to our hearts,” said one of the elderly residents.
The management of Mahabodhi Positive Living Society appreciated the effort, stating,
“We are thankful to 763 BRTF for not just cleaning our home but filling it with compassion and positive energy. Their focus on food hygiene will help us improve our kitchen practices further,” remarked the Home Coordinator.
Locals lauded the team for embodying the true spirit of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, which extends beyond cleanliness to care, dignity, and empathy for the most respected members of society.
The event concluded on a heartwarming note with residents and BRTF personnel sharing smiles, songs, and stories — reaffirming the belief that cleanliness and compassion go hand in hand.
